Sadr

Sadr

The bright white star right of center is Sadr, which means “chest”. It is the center star in the constellation Cygnus, the Swan which rides high in the summer sky. This is my longest exposure yet, totaling 8 hours over 3 nights. 1800 light years distant, in the “Hercules Arm” of the Milky Way, toward the galactic center.
